ALB Funding Opportunities Available for Fairs, Festivals, Farmers Markets & Education

As fairs, festivals, and farmers markets ramp up across the country, the American Lamb Board (ALB) is offering two funding opportunities to support local educational and promotional efforts that build awareness and drive demand for American lamb.

New Industry Sponsorship Funding Available

ALB is pleased to offer sponsorship funding for events that strengthen and grow the U.S. sheep industry.

Organizations hosting events that include educational sessions, tours or demonstrations, and networking opportunities are encouraged to apply. Requests should include a proposed agenda, event location, and event date.

Available Sponsorship Options:

  • Complimentary ALB Promotional Materials (up to $400 value, excluding spice tins) ALB logo must be included on the event program or event website

  • $750 Cash Sponsorship (plus complimentary promotional materials) inclusion of an ALB advertisement in the event program or on the event website Option to feature a sponsored newsletter article about ALB

  • $1,500 Cash Sponsorship (plus complimentary promotional materials) Inclusion of an ALB advertisement in the event program ALB banner advertisement on the event website sponsored newsletter article featuring ALB

These sponsorships are designed to support events that provide valuable education, collaboration, and networking opportunities for sheep producers and industry partners, while also increasing awareness of lamb checkoff programs and initiatives.

Promotional Funding Program

ALB also offers a matching promotional funding program designed to increase awareness and demand for American lamb through consumer-focused marketing and promotional efforts.

Eligible projects include:

  • Local, consumer-facing promotional events

  • Cooking classes, on-farm tours, demonstrations, and festival activations

  • Development of branded marketing materials (websites, signage, sales tools)

  • Retail or foodservice promotions
